This disclaimer applies to virtual consultations performed via video call, telephone, or homeowner-uploaded photographs.
Scope of Virtual Consultations
Online consultations help us understand your project goals, walk through preliminary scope, suggest design direction, and provide rough budget ranges. They are not a substitute for an in-home site inspection.
No Guarantees on Hidden Conditions
Virtual consultations cannot reliably identify hidden conditions inside walls, floors, ceilings, foundations, attics, or utility systems. Any cost or schedule discussed virtually is subject to revision after in-home inspection reveals actual conditions.
Photo-Based Estimates
Photo-based estimates rely entirely on the accuracy and completeness of the photos you provide. We cannot guarantee an estimate prepared solely from photos. In-home assessment is recommended before contracting any project over $5,000.
Not Architecture or Engineering
Virtual consultations do not constitute architectural design, structural engineering, mechanical engineering, or licensed surveying. Where those services are required, we coordinate with licensed Utah professionals on a separate contract.
