Legal Licensing & Credentials

TUFFDES LLC, operating as ProCareMan®, holds an active Utah General Contractor B100 license issued by the Utah Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing (DOPL). The B100 classification authorizes general residential and small commercial construction including new construction, remodeling, additions, and related coordination of licensed trade scopes.

Active license status, license number, and disciplinary history are publicly verifiable through the Utah DOPL license-lookup tool. We will furnish our current license certificate on request.

ProCareMan® operates throughout Salt Lake County and surrounding Utah communities including Salt Lake City, West Jordan, South Jordan, Sandy, Draper, Riverton, Herriman, Murray, Millcreek, Holladay, Cottonwood Heights, Taylorsville, and West Valley City. We periodically take projects in adjacent counties on a case-by-case basis.

We maintain general liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage in amounts that meet or exceed Utah statutory minimums for our scope of practice. A certificate of insurance naming you as additional insured is available for any active project — requests are typically fulfilled within one business day. Independent trade contractors carry their own liability and workers' compensation policies (see Contractor Network Disclosure).

Coverage amounts, carriers, and policy terms change from time to time. Nothing on this page is a guarantee of any specific coverage amount, policy duration, or claim outcome.

For projects that require building, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, or specialty permits, ProCareMan® or the appropriate trade partner pulls the permit on the homeowner's behalf with the relevant Salt Lake County or city building department. Permit fees are passed through at cost; coordination and submission time is included in our project-management scope.

Permits are issued in the homeowner's name (as property owner) with the licensed contractor of record listed. Homeowners are encouraged to retain copies of permits and inspection records for resale and warranty purposes.

As the general contractor, ProCareMan® coordinates licensed trade partners, schedules inspections, manages change orders, and provides weekly written status updates on every project. Final accountability for quality and warranty rests with TUFFDES LLC dba ProCareMan® under the signed project contract, regardless of which trade partner performed any portion of the work.

ProCareMan® operates in compliance with applicable Utah construction-law statutes, DOPL rules, OSHA safety standards, local building codes, and consumer-protection laws including Utah's mechanics-lien notices, change-order disclosure requirements, and Utah Consumer Sales Practices Act. Where federal regulations apply (EPA RRP lead-paint rules on pre-1978 homes, IRS 1099 reporting on trade contractors, TCPA on SMS communications), we comply with those as well.
